Distance, not speed.
Congratulations on your one year anniversary! Kona might also like a handlebar bag or a front rack.
I'm pretty sure Kona wants a sibling. :)The handlebar bag is a good idea, though. I've been thinking of that for a while.Maybe something will come to me on the morning ride tomorrow.
I am courting infidelity with my Orbea. I keep looking at other bikes online and seeing what is around. I am leaning towards electric bikes as my knees are protesting rather a lot. I can't help thinking that if I could shift that excess 10 kilos then my knees would whine less.Every time I make it through that thought process I end up buying a new pannier. I am fundamentally a bag lady!
I understand the impulse to buy a new bag. When I was traveling a lot, I used to want to have a bag for every use. Backpack for informal trips, small bag for overnight trips, large bag for longer trips, extra bag to hold business clothing...Now all of my extra funds go for bike-related stuff. So I start thinking along the lines of: panniers for commuting, rack-top bag for group/recreational rides, handlebar bag for short rides....fortunately I haven't yet indulged myself, but I can see that day coming...
